Dyadic Tutoring developed out of my experiences as an educator witnessing the number of mental health issues (and increases in psychopharmacology prescriptions) rise with each year. Our current system is ill-equipped to meet both our students’ overall developmental and mental health needs. When seeing this void, we understand that a broader and more balanced approach to learning is needed.

Dyadic Tutoring™ is firmly grounded in the twin goals of academic success and mental well-being, believing that when both are balanced, overall functioning is optimal and academic success follows naturally.
Dyadic Tutoring utilizes a multi-dimensional developmental approach to identify and evaluate each student's strengths and vulnerabilities. After an extensive evaluation, a specific working plan is created in order to best serve the individualized needs of each student. Dyadic Tutoring accepts a limited number of students at any give time, ensuring that each works one-on-one with founder Yahvey Hoffman, MS, MA, LMHC.
By combining pedagogic insight with clinical expertise, Dyadic Tutoring offers a synthesis of services critical for overall student development.
Dyadic Tutoring is intended for students/parents who want:
- Clinical expertise in mental health while not losing track of school performance
- Individualized attention to both mental health and academic health in single sessions
